Marioff Upgrades HI-FOG Water Treatment Unit

Posted by Michelle Howard

Marioff has upgraded its HI-FOG water mist fire protection system, the HI-FOG water treatment unit (WTU). This latest addition enables the use of a wider water quality range in the HI-FOG systems.
The HI-FOG WTU, which is installed on the feed water side of the HI-FOG system, consists of a chemical dosing station that includes an electric dosing pump and chemical tank. The chemical dosing unit, filled with a Marioff-recommended water treatment chemical, reacts to the flow in the HI-FOG system by feeding the appropriate amount of chemical into the system.

A user-friendly screen shows the HI-FOG WTU system's operational state.

The HI-FOG WTU can be retrofitted to existing HI-FOG systems in both land and marine applications and is currently available.
